ANTI-GRAVITY CAR

go!!!tothemax of the german GO!!! forum will hopefully forgive me... and also the US guys - this is really a 100% european article...

ANTI-GRAVITY CAR by ARTIN

I went on a pre-X-mas day in a German toy market... my own fault you think? I did also, til I saw the ads: wonderfull-drive-on-the-track-and-on-the-head-slot-car-set; instead of 39,99 Euro, only 19,99! I at once did look for that offer - two cars in it, plus tracks, what a bargain ... nothing found, asked stressed out sales man (my wife´s look is simular when I talk about... äh... you know what!), answer: "they were sold out at the first day, but we have still cars there in the corner - mpf, I know that corner, normally I find my GO!!!´s there.

So, I headed quite to the corner and what did I see? I see, that I do (quite) see nothing! No sets available (from nobody)... GO!!!-cars only FOUR (three police Porsche and one MS-F1), Artin quite more and among two types of the "Anti Gravity Car Accessories" at a price of 9,99 Euro (almost 1 ct cheaper than the set...)

Artin

So I didn´t think a long time and purchased a Mitsubishi WRC and a Nissan 240 SX. The Nissan is still in the box, because the stickers are hanging away and I´m afraid to take the car out without special tools. The Mitsubishi was unpacked and looks on the first view quite normal:

also from the front...

... the back...

What the hell is Artin thinking by bringing out a such poor quality with those stickers? Never heard about printing the colour on the car??!! I´m really happy, that Carrera has an other point of view (sorry pfuetze)
[EXCITE off]

... only if you take a look to the chassis of the car, you find at once a difference:

Artin

Not only that they have two guide oins, no, the chassis is in a clear blue - why? Just asked myself, till I turned the first laps on my track... aaahhh, they are simulating a ground lightning...

Artin

The second lamp is glued to the back of the chassis, waht makes the body glue like a lamp - only the windows are dark, because they are made out of real, black plastic!

As mentioned, the especiality are the two guide pins - one in the front, one at the rear of the chassis. Also if it seems, that the magnet is movable, he is glued like the old ones.

Artin

The guide pins are made only for the "I-drive-on-the-head"-thing. It seems that the cars are hanging with the guide pin in the slot, when they are "Anti-Gravity":

This guide pin is, in my opinion, the big problem . he is to filigree - I hope that there are no children toooo disappointed on X-Mas!

Conclusion: I´m happy about two new scratch objects (the Nissan will be a good base).

And now look yourselve a look to this... ahhh... plastic scrap:
