GO!!! slot car investigation

For all those, which never did have the courage to divide completely a GO!!!slotcar... or for all those, which ask themselves, why the cars are sold between 12,50 EUR and 19,50 EUR (YES, I saw today a 19,50 EUR car!)... or simply for those, which did not make ever any thoughth about this point:

Of how many parts a GO!!! slotcar actually consists?

27 !

I didn´t separate the rear axle and the tail spoiler from the vehicle, as this only could be done with substantial damages and I still need this nice racer for future projects...

I counted:

body
tail spoiler
chassi
rear axle
rear axle pinion
front window
rear & side windows
engine
engine pinion
three condensers inclusive wire
four rims
four tires
front axle
two pickup shoes (since when the shoes aren´t out of copper?)
two pickup shoed takers
magnet
guide pin

In addition the car print is to add to the body, the tail spoiler, the two window inserts and the tires.

And at first you have to pay the licence to the automotive brand...

Like that, now it´s clear, why the cars costs as much as they costs, or not?!
