Kart goes GO!!!

Under the mentioned 151 Jouef cars is one also very expensive... the cart:

The question is why, as he is really not 1/43, but "only" on a Jouef chassis? Very simple, as the most cars are looking like this:

Joeuf_Kart_02.jpg

As the developper did make a construction mistake, the most of the front suspentions did fly away like a modern F1-wing.

I have this car now since a while (for little money) - but what to do with it? Today, by hazard, a naked F1 chassis was standing allong...

Same idear like me?

Two minutes of intensive thinking and the F1 chassis had no longer the fron suspentions and the side wings.

A fast try... fits:

Chassis shorted, fast check... looking better and better:

Ok, now fixed the front to the back piece, putted the brushes in and solded the motor on, made a hole for the guidance pin and fittet the front axcle in a plastic covering... ups! Finnished (here first try with an Artin guidance oin)!

After adding the rest pieces, like engine dummy and race number at the back he is now looking like this:

Just have to find a nice solution for the front...

From the back it´s OK

Just looking forward to let him run with the big ones... he is for shure an open sports car, isn´t he?
