Buildings

There are different methods and possibilities to decorate a permenant track with buildings:

aotb buildings (actuel):

Carrera just offers a double-garage for the 1:32 track - in my opinion this things suits better to the 1:43:

Checking the actual offers of Carrera and Artin (some of us are dedicated to the Artin tribune) could be worthwhile to the owner of the 1:43 track

aotb buildings (vintage):

In former slot car years there were different parts for the track. As an example the presstowerfor the UNI from Carrera (also in my opinion much better suiting to the 1.43 track, than to former slot cars in bigger scales:

Unfortunately the part isn't easy (or cheap) to get. By the way: the UNI-garage is better fitting to the 1:32 than to 1:43, so don't invest to much money at Ih-bä'i - better check (or buy) the above mentioned Carrera garage.

Readymade miniature railway models and buildings:

There are numerous buildings, made of plastic and sometimes even wood for the miniature railway in "Spur 0" (track 0)
In various and ample amount only available in the United States. Therefore of course according to our slot cars very expencive. Best chance to order for German slot car freaks as always Ih-Bä´i*dot*komm.

construction kit building (paper):

Professional paper building construction kits in 1:43 (Spur 0) are numerous, but expensive. Fortunately there are some freaks, offering on their homepages a free download of elder Slot car buildings.
Especially to mention ist the homepage Carrera4Fun.

There are offered buildings (in collaboration with Oli of the GO!!!-Forum) in 1:43. The remaining paper bows are easy to convert: Original multiplicated with 0,74418

So it's also possible to treat the bows individually:

construction kit building (plastic):

Originally concipated for the miniature railway, there are various and numerous buildings in kits made of plastic - also foremost in the United States, but also available in well sorted miniature railway shops (keep an eye on the price).
Bargains are sometimes possible, just look as almost everytime in our hobby at Ih-Bä´i (*dot*com).

Non-slot car buildings:

Have a look at the children's toys shops: in various search trials you will sometimes find bulidings fitting to our tracks:

Mostly you won't find the suitable scale, but integrated in a well and lovely designed and decorated track they will give a very nice impression.
